To celebrate International Womens’ Day this year we’ll be running an embroidery workshop inside the light and lovely glasses store Ollie Quinn (Spitalfields). During the two-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to hand sew using colourful threads to decorate a small cotton pouch. You’re also more than welcome to bring in your own item of clothing to stitch on cotton, denim, canvas and stiff fabrics work best.  Learn a new skill that you can take away and enjoy in your spare time. The workshop is aimed at beginners but all other levels are welcome and all sewing equipment will be provided. Bring a friend and create the opportunity to share conversation with those you know or make friends with those you don’t.

Date & time

Thursday 12th March 6:30 – 8:30pm with a 6:45 start. Please be punctual so instructions are given at the same time and you have enough time to stitch your bag. Tickets are £10 plus the Eventbrite fee. All tickets are non-refundable and are in GBP.
