The day of love is soon approaching and we’re running two Valentine’s Day themed workshops next month. On Saturday 10 February (1-3pm) there’ll be an embellishment workshop in Anthropologie Spitalfields. We’ll teach you how to hand sew and decorate a canvas clutch bag with beads and sequins.
If you can’t make Saturday join us on Tuesday 13 February (6:30-8:30pm) in Ace Hotel Shoreditch for an embroidery workshop where you can decorate a t-shirt, tote or drawstring bag. Come learn the basics, take a break from scrolling on Instagram and make something for a loved one; or yourself.
For both workshops you can bring in your own item to work on if you’d prefer. Cotton, denim, canvas and stiffer fabrics are easier to work on. All levels are welcome and equipment will be provided.
As well as learning the basics to hand sewing you’ll leave with a goodie bag of sewing treats to continue practising in your own time.
